Dr. Jack Bourla
|
Jack Bourla, D.C., A.C.P., began his tenure as the sixth president of Sherman College of Chiropractic in December 2022 and is responsible for guiding the direction of the institution while continuing to shape and influence the chiropractic profession. He is committed to ensuring the mission of Sherman College is alive for many generations to come.
Under Dr. Bourla’s leadership, the college utilizes the most modern strategies in education to assure that students are well equipped to serve their communities upon graduation. Sherman strives to maintain the purity of chiropractic by emphasizing the importance of science, art, and philosophy in the classroom at every opportunity. Dr. Bourla ran a successful private practice, Providence Chiropractic Center, in Redwood City, California for 25 years, but when realizing the importance of perpetuating the vertebral subluxation model, he felt compelled to bring his experience to Sherman College. One of his greatest joys is watching young minds develop into successful, confident, and competent doctors of chiropractic. Dr. Bourla is a first generation United States citizen who is bilingual in English and French. He has served the chiropractic profession in educational and organizational leadership roles such as dean of clinics at Life West Chiropractic College and International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations (IFCO) former president and chairman of the board. He is a current member of the IFCO board of directors. Dr. Bourla was awarded the California Chiropractic Association President’s Award, 2011-2012 and Doctor of the Year, 2012-2013, and Sherman College of Chiropractic Profession of the Year, 2022. Dr. Neil Cohen

Dr. Neil Cohen is a chiropractor, a platform speaker and recently published author. Graduating Life Chiropractic College in 1986, Dr. Cohen was privileged to serve his south Florida community creating a remarkably successful family practice alongside his loving wife Randi, for more than 28 years. It was their deep dedication and commitment to the chiropractic principle, combined with perseverance and a strong faith, that were the fundamental values that carried them to success.
In 2014 Dr. Cohen was called to Sherman College of Chiropractic and accepted a high-level leadership role in the position as the Executive Vice President until June of 2023. During those years Dr. Cohen has been an influential voice for chiropractic around the United States and internationally. He has gained a reputation for inspiring and empowering others to preserve, protect and perpetuate chiropractic and its historical significance reshaping humanity. Dr. Cohen remains truly humbled as a leader serving our beloved chiropractic profession, and continues to be a passionate and a committed sentry in the guarding our sacred trust. Always desiring to serve chiropractic at the highest level, Dr. Neil Cohen launched the ABOVE DOWN Success Coaching program. Dr. Edwin Cordero

Dr. Edwin Cordero is a highly respected chiropractic leader, business coach, and leadership strategist with over 31 years of experience in the chiropractic profession and 12 years in high-level executive leadership. Dr. Ray Drury

Author of the best-selling book The Best-Kept Secret in Healthcare and owner of The Upper Cervical Spine Centers in Charlotte, NC and Nashville, TN. Dr. Drury opened his first office in February of 1994 in Mooresville, North Carolina, and has since opened twelve more Upper Cervical offices around the world. Dr. Drury is the founder and lead instructor of the Knee Chest Society.
Dr. Drury was instrumental in the development of the Upper Cervical Academy in conjunction with Sherman College of Chiropractic and has a strong reputation of helping the worst of the worst cases; specializing in helping those who have been told there is no hope. With over 31 years of experience, he continues to attract patients from all over the world and makes miracles happen each and every day. Throughout the years, he has developed a reputation as one of the most experienced upper cervical doctors in the world. He has received numerous awards and recognition for his continued devotion to the upper cervical profession and has been featured in short upper cervical documentaries and news. In his best-selling book, The Best-Kept Secret in Health Care, he continues to spread the word of upper cervical care and showcase its importance to the masses. |
Dr. Barry Hobbs

Dr. Barry Hobbs is known for his dedication and commitment to the Chiropractic principles and profession. He is known for preserving its past and safeguarding the legacy that has been left. Dr. Barry Hobbs is a 1997 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. While in school he was President of the Kale club, was a clinic leader, and was on the dean's list. Dr. Hobbs immediately started studying under Dr. Michael U Kale in his first trimester 1994, at the age of 20, until 1999. Dr. Hobbs moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1999 and has been in private KC practice since. He also has had satellite clinics with other KC/UC docs and enjoys doing house calls. His greatest joy is teaching people about INNATE. In his spare time he enjoys promoting the great science of Chiropractic by serving on boards and committees at state, national, and international levels. He is often found preserving our past in his extensive collection of historical items and writings. Dr. Hobbs is seen protecting the integrity and lexicon of the science, art, and philosophy of Chiropractic through his service within multiple Chiropractic organizations.

Dr. Jay Komarek

Dr. Jay Komarek’s chiropractic career spans both human and animal care, beginning in 1977 when he first started adjusting both. That same year, he also began teaching Holistic Health at Bucks County Community College in Philadelphia, launching a parallel path in education that has continued throughout his career.
Dr. Komarek has been deeply involved in chiropractic education and regularly speaks at chiropractic colleges and professional organizations across the country. His work with animals—especially horses—has taken him nationwide, and he has collaborated with four veterinary practices. He received his animal chiropractic certification in the early 1990s when formal programs were first developed. Throughout his career, he has managed chiropractic offices, led teams, and cultivated a thriving practice. His expertise and passion for animal chiropractic were recognized nationally when he was featured on the Today Show, a segment that aired worldwide. Currently, Dr. Komarek teaches continuing education courses through the Advanced Animal Chiropractic program, with offerings both across the U.S. and in Europe. He also runs a certified educational program for veterinarians and chiropractors, accredited by the AVCA and IVCA. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Komarek enjoys playing guitar, reading, and spending time with his three children—Laurel, Austin (a chiropractor), and Sophia. He comes from a family of chiropractors, including his father John and uncles Rudy and Joe, and he has five sisters. |

Dr. Michael Shreeve

Dr. Michael Shreeve is a 1974 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Davenport campus and is a Diplomate in Philosophical Chiropractic Standards. After 30 years of chiropractic practice in Tampa, Florida, he joined the faculty at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus in Port Orange, Florida. As a professor in Academic Affairs, he has taught upper cervical specific techniques, chiropractic philosophy, chiropractic history and currently teaches Subluxation Analysis. He continues to maintain a part-time chiropractic practice in Port Orange, Florida. He has authored several articles published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine, the Journal of Upper Cervical Chiropractic Research, the Journal of Chiropractic Education. Dr. Shreeve is a past Board Member on the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine. He is a past-president of the Florida Chiropractic Society and is currently Chairman of the Board of the Grostic Procedure Society. Dr. Shreeve is frequently an invited lecturer at state, national and international chiropractic conventions. Dr. Shreeve has been honored by the Florida Chiropractic Society with the Lifetime Achievement Award and by the Florida Board of Chiropractic with the Distinguished Service to the Chiropractic Profession Award.

Dr. Clayton Sullwold

Dr. Clayton Sullwold is living proof that it is possible to switch from a full spine practice to Upper Cervical Practice. He practiced 6 years full spine before taking a leap of faith in 2013 and starting over with upper cervical care.
He studied knee chest work under Dr. Ray Drury and the Knee Chest Society. He is passionate about “The Principle” that B.J. laid down and watching it work every day in his patients’ lives. Now well into his 5th year as a knee chest doctor he witnesses healings from M.S. to epilepsy, Trigeminal neuralgia and many other “difficult” neurological conditions. Dr. Sullwold's message is one of setting your own personal bar high and striving for you believe is possible. Dr. Christopher Tabick

Dr. Tabick is known for his unwavering commitment and dedication to the Upper Cervical Specific Knee Chest Brainstem procedure. He is the Founder and CEO of Corrective Care Chiropractic, with offices in New York and California.
Since 1994, Dr. Tabick has been actively involved in chiropractic mission trips and is currently planning continued outreach to The City of Refuge in Medellin, Colombia, to serve the impoverished community, as well as a maiden trip to India to care for women rescued from human trafficking. Dr. Tabick graduated from Life University in 1997, where he received his Kale Network Certification and founded the “Palmer Room” at Life University. He has been honored with several awards including the Ambassador of Foreign Missions, the Outstanding Leadership Award, and the Unending Commitment in Service award from the Kale Network and Foundation. Dr. Nick Tedder

Dr Tedder has created on of the largest principled upper cervical practices in the country seeing upwards of 150-200 people a day. He accomplished this through passion for serving people, simple and predictable business systems and staying true to the founding principles of specific chiropractic. Dr Tedder has also mentored over 17 associates, many whom have gone on to build large impacting offices themselves. Dr Tedder dedicates time to student interns as he aims at helping the future generations keep upper cervical alive!

Dr. Kyle Troyer

Dr. Kyle Troyer has been helping people get their life back for over 20 years in Cedar Falls, IA with his Knee Chest Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic practice. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in June of 2003 and completed his specific Knee Chest Upper Cervical training through the Kale Chiropractic Research Center in Spartanburg, SC. He is a Blue Angel with the Knee Chest Society.
It was an immense honor to him to attend his first Kale seminar, which was Dr. Kale's last seminar he taught before he passed. That moment (meeting and hearing Dr. Kale talk about how powerful this work is) changed his life! Dr. Troyer achieved the Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers (ACP) program and has taught his colleagues through the Upper Cervical Academy (through Sherman College of Chiropractic) on Chiropractic Philosophy. Dr. Troyer considers BJ Palmer a mentor, even though he never met him, and is amazed at the power of the human body and the Innate within. When he isn’t changing lives in the practice, Dr. Troyer enjoys spending time with his wife, Jaime, and their three children. He loved coaching his kid's soccer teams and was the Scoutmaster for Troop 95 in Jesup, IA, where his son Cameron became an Eagle Scout. His daughter Ava is now also an Eagle Scout as well, with Troop 21! His family loves to travel and explore new areas of the world together. Dr. Christopher Wolff is an experienced upper cervical chiropractor based in Seattle, Washington, with over 27 years in the chiropractic field. A 1997 graduate of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic, Dr. Wolff specializes in the Blair Upper Cervical Technique — a precise, gentle, and highly specialized method focused on correcting misalignments in the upper neck.
Throughout his career, Dr. Wolff has opened seven chiropractic offices across the greater Seattle area, driven by his passion for helping people achieve lasting health and well-being. He believes deeply in the life-changing impact of upper cervical care and considers it irreplaceable for humanity's long-term health. Dr. Wolff has served on the board of the Blair Chiropractic Society and has been an active member since 1997. He is also a member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association. Outside of practice, Dr. Wolff enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending quality time with his family. Dr. Will Youngblood

Dr. Will Youngblood is the owner of Charleston Upper Cervical Chiropractic. He graduated from Life Chiropractic College in 1996. In 2011, he obtained a post graduate degree specializing in Upper Cervical Care in the inaugural class of the Upper Cervical Academy through Sherman College of Chiropractic. He is advanced certified in Knee Chest technique through the Knee Chest Society and was an instructor helping teach Upper Cervical Care and Knee Chest work to Chiropractic students and doctors for 15 years. He has presented at the Upper Cervical diplomate annual convention and continues to teach and work with Doctors and students.
Dr. Youngblood attended the University of Richmond where he played football and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with honors. His mission and passion is to bring specific Upper Cervical Care to the forefront of healthcare by creating a paradigm shift about optimal health and function through sound education and solid clinical results. Dr. Youngblood provides excellent Corrective Spinal Care for patients as well as lifetime wellness care for families. Dr. Youngblood is a Charleston native and lives here with his wife Christi, their son Wyatt, and their daughter Gracelyn. He enjoys, boating, fishing, hunting, and sports.
